The Big Birthday Bash

Nate has never had a birthday party with all his friends. The usual birthday party included both sets of grandparents, the aunts, uncles and cousins and Lauryn, because as Nate says, "She's family!", and we say that too! We love you Lauryn! The main reason for this was our small house wouldn't hold all the excitement. Well now we have a new house with a basement and Saturday it was transformed into "Party Central". Pizza, chips and pop, most kids' favorites, were had by all. I did learn that 8-12 year old boys need their Mt. Dew and I did not have enough. The Wii bowling tournament was exciting and prizes were given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners! Presents, cake and ice cream rounded out a fun day with a bunch of great kids. Mom and Dad were ready for a nap when it was all over! :o)

I liked the cake! I had to make a bowling cake a couple of weeks ago and it came down to that one and the one I made. Honestly glad he picked the other one; because that one looked to time consuming!!

YOu did a GREAT JOB!!!
