My CVS Trip Explained

Beth asked a question about coupons and CVS. I thought I would post here what I used yesterday in order to get my things for $6. I stopped at 4 different CVS's on my way here and there. I'm not sure if I could have done 4 different transactions at once. I don't really want to take up that much time in line. There are CVS's everywhere and we just stop along the way. As I'm getting out of the car Randy says, "Go get 'um girl!" Here's the breakdown:
1st trip:
1 Softsoap - $3.99
1 Renu - $8.99
1 Gilette - $9.99
1 Crest Whitestrip - $35.99
minus - $3 off $15 CVS coupon - online printable
$2 off $10 CVS coupon - online printable
$1 off softsoap - online printable
$2.50 off Renu - online printable
$4 off Gilette - coupon from paper
$5 off Crest strips - coupons from paper
$41 Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) that I have earned from previous CVS deals
Total spent out of pocket (oop) $1.31
Received - $1 ECB from softsoap
$3 ECB from Renu
$6 ECB from Gilette
$11 ECB Total

2nd trip:
1 Duracell - $5.29
1 Charmin - $2.49
1 Tide - $4.99
1 Tide - $4.99
1 Covergirl lipgloss - $3.99
1 Covergirl lipgloss - $1.99 - these were Buy one get one(BOGO) 50% off
Minus - $3 off $15
$2 off $10
$.75 off duracell - paper
$.25 off Charmin - paper
$1.00 off Tide - online printable
BOGO Covergirl - paper
$13 ECBs still left from Black Friday
Total oop - $.13 (this was my favorite stop of the day!)
Received - $5 ECB procter and gamble

3rd trip:
2 Febreeze Air Effects - 2 for $5
1 Febreeze Noticables - $6.99
3 Sierra Mist 12 packs - 3 for $10
6 Sierra Mist 2 Liters - $1.59 each
Minus - $3 off $15
$2 off $10
$.50 off Febreeze x 2 - paper
$1.00 off Febreeze Noticable - paper
BOGO Sierra Mist 2 liter x 3 - online printable
$18.78 ECBs
Total oop - $3.62
Received - $7.50 ECB from pepsi
$5 ECB from Febreeze

4th trip:
1 Always - $5.99
minus $5 ECB
Total oop - $1.06

I now have $7.50 left in ECBs to be put toward future purchases. It really is worth the effort and time it takes. I am buying things I will use and a few things I want for next to nothing! Randy started stopping at a convenience store on his way to work on Monday morning to get me a left over Sunday paper. It sure was worth the $1.85 this week! Check out CVS 101 to get started!
Happy Shopping,
