What You'll Do For Dave

As you know yesterday was the day we were to see Dave Ramsey. With the impending "White Death" headed our way we made the call to see if it would be cancelled. She said, "Not at this time, check Dave's website later this afternoon for more information." Later this afternoon?! We were to leave at 1:30pm as it is a 2 hour drive from our house to Lexington, KY. We picked Randy and Heather up at their house at 2pm and made our way to KY. My mom called when we were in Cincinnati and said that they just posted a notice on Dave's site that a little snow wasn't keeping Dave from having his Live Event! Well we found out what he was talking about when we arrived in Lexington, they had no snow! No wonder they thought we were silly for calling them! We had a fantastic time listening to Dave's words of wisdom. We've seen him before but he was just as great and energized last night as he was 6 months ago! If you ever have a chance to see him live, go! It will change the way you think. If you can't see him live you can watch the live events online or you can attend a Financial Peace University in a church near you. We are getting ready to start this in our church and I am thrilled! Thanks to Domino's Pizza for delivering to our motel room in freezing rain and snow at midnight! Tip those guys well, they deserve it! Here are some pictures of what we had to travel home in today! A level 3 snow emergency with blizzard conditions! I have never travelled in such conditions before and it was very scary. My husband and God navigated our faithful little Impala with great skill and we made it home safely. Enjoy the pictures, I'm going to enjoy my fireplace and maybe cook something. Hubby's got the munchies. If you ever need traveling companions, I highly recommend Randy and Heather! They are great friends and fun to have around. Thanks for the memories, Randy and Heather!
